I was invited to design and illustrate the characters for The Summer Reading Challenge 2019 - an annual project to encourage children to continue reading for pleasure during the long summer school break. The theme for 2019 was Space Chasers. I designed the Rockets, an everyday space family, and the Alien book bandits too. Fun and action were the watchwords for this project.
